When the Circle begins to attack his new home, Nara decides to stop fleeing and fight the cult around the Great Prophet. Despite disturbing visions and constant fear of relapse, our pilot penetrates deeper and deeper into the dark world of the circle. In the main story about 10-15 hours, we first have to get most of the people to trust us again. Although Chorus offers us five open star systems, the story runs quite linearly through the adventure.
When we fly from A to B with our spaceship, we still have a nice open-world feeling. We keep running into side quests and random events on our trips to the main quests. The five-star Stega Rim, Stega Central, Amarok, Kinuuk, and Nimika systems are connected with jump gates.
As soon as we get to a certain point in the story, we can quickly jump from one system to another. Since Chorus is a pure space shooter, we only see planets in the background and we cannot explore them. The action takes place only in weightlessness and that works very well.
