Chillas Art The Karaoke PC Game 2023 review:
This is made up of a pair of brothers, and it’s great that they can speak from the perspective of women to discuss issues that these victims avoid talking about, but are important to all of us.
The Karaoke | ヒトカラ is a Japanese horror game about a high school girl at a Karaoke. Key Pros: Immersive experience: An atmospheric, believable environment intensifies the horror experience. VHS film aesthetic: VHS aesthetic emulates the look and feel of CRT screens, including phosphor screen trail and bleeding, VHS tape noise, interlacing, and jitter in the analog video signal adding extra immersion to the horror experience.
Chilla’s Art really stepped up their game for this one. Fully voiced dialogue, pretty good optimization (compared to past games), and larger map sizes are a few of the big changes we’d point out about The Karaoke. we felt this game definitely showed an improvement in quality overall, while still keeping that old Chilla’s charm.
The best part of The Karaoke is the atmosphere, and Chilla’s really nails that in each of their games. It’s what keeps me looking forward to each new project they come up with! A couple of good jumpscares in this one, and the stealth bits really did well to get that adrenaline going. The addition of the karaoke mini-game was a cool touch, too.
