Celestian Tales: Realms Beyond is a wonderfully hand-painted Role Playing Game set in a realm of mysterious morals very like our own. Track the course of six Friends, champions sworn to assist and defend the heir of a royal house, as they arise and befall in their conflict to sustain a realm where a person’s true opponents are often their most intimate partners.

Pros of Celestian Tales Realms Beyond:
- The artstyle is really amazing and it is what interested me in the series. Sadly, the art at a time feels incoherent, like it started with one artist and then moved to another.
- The gameplay is basic but fun. If you like the PS1 era of turn-based RPGs you are going to like it. If you are looking for something more complex then you might find it too basic and simplistic.
- Some characters have a pretty interesting story and character development. Ylianee’s character development is especially good.
