This is a Metroidvania adventure action game that puts us in the shoes of a barbarian and his traveling companion, a bat. We will have to explore caves full of enemies, traps, final bosses, and manage to escape alive.

Batbarian starts with you and your shiny bat Pip being hurled into an endless chasm, to imminent death. In fact, when you reach the bottom you are alive, and with no other alternative, you start looking for a way out. During your adventure, you will encounter all kinds of enemies and even friends around. Your progress is constantly saved in campfires scattered around the map. Several secret rooms and puzzles can be found on your walk. Fortunately, your shiny bat will help you open most of them, and even help in combat. That is clear when he has his favorite foods available.
The gameplay is perfect, and we can choose between two adventurers to start the game, one using claws and the other using a sword. My choice was clawed and so far we have not regretted it. The game also has a good dose of humor, in some moments you can choose your dialogs and the NPCs will have different lines depending on what you say. Unfortunately, the game is not in Portuguese, but the dialogues are really humorous and curiosities, and while they give an extra charm, they are not the focus of the game.
