Astebreed is a shmup created by the same designers of Ether Vapor Remaster, which already had a heavyweight in their resume, one not very recognized as R-Type.

It’s funny how this started. we are one of those people who loves to watch Two Best Friends on YouTube, and in one of the editions of “Japanesse Indie Games” they showed this title. we don’t remember much about him, but it was love at first sight. It was not more than 5 minutes to search for it on Steam and buy it (which did not happen but in the next few months we had the opportunity). we are going to advance something to you: If yours is the shmups, you are going to adore it.
Although you had some particular things that spoiled the game a lot, for example, enemy projectiles were not displayed very well, and given the nature of it, it is something that you have to be able to see effectively. As for its second title taken to the west, Astebreed is not at all short, it is more, it is a gigantic step forward that shows a gameplay a little different from conventional shmups, but that feels familiar.
Pros of Astebreed Definitive Edition:
- Multiple types of vertical and horizontal directions and STG are reduced to one game
- We think the graphics are quite high compared to the existing STG
