Kittengumi: The Thief of the Sakabato transports us to an alternative version of Japan known as Gapon. In this visual novel, the main characters are a cat and a panda who believes he’s a cat.
Their mission is to recover the stolen sakabato, one of the treasures protected by the Kittengumi, a group of samurai cats responsible for the security of Nyedo, a city they safeguard. This adventure serves as the first official mission for the protagonists. Throughout their journey, they will encounter various characters and face different outcomes depending on the choices made, not all of which will lead to a happy ending.
The Sakabato Thief marks the beginning of a series of visual novels that narrate distinct stories featuring the members of the Kittengumi. Your decisions hold significance as they determine the path taken by Ryuudama and Kumaneko. Will you succeed in capturing the thief? Will you have the chance to meet all the characters?
