Whether you prefer solo play or cooperative gameplay with friends, you can choose from four distinct characters, each with their own combat style: the well-rounded Buckler, the ranged Archer, the hard-hitting Claymore wielder, and the agile Assassin. Each character possesses unique attacks, abilities, and action mechanics such as dodging, guarding, and parrying.

The game incorporates a powers system based on the five elements philosophy: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. These elements have a rock-paper-scissors relationship, allowing players to combine powers and create unique combat builds. With hundreds of Inscriptions that offer different variations to battles, players can explore tradeoffs and discover unexpected synergies by matching different inscriptions. Additionally, players can obtain Weapon Seals that modify attack forms, providing even more opportunities for experimentation with powers and inscriptions.

Mist Slayer supports up to four-player online co-op, allowing you to play with friends or team up with random players through matchmaking. Special co-op tasks and items enhance the cooperative experience, adding to the fun factor. As you progress in the game, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock and upgrade new characters. Exploring the mist world will unveil new collections, and you can discover over 300 powers, runes, inscriptions, and weapon seals.
