Knights Try PC Game 2022 review:
This is a tough platformer game with 3D graphics. You play the role of an honorable knight who tries to complete his sacred test by jumping into a world full of danger!
Knight’s Try is a really fun, addicting, and at times, painfully challenging game! The game is exactly as advertised in the trailer. If the trailer makes the game look fun to you then you’ll probably like it. It’s definitely not for novices. Great game! Love the aesthetic. The sound effects are nice and crunchy and the controls are just clunky enough to be fun. There’s an off-kilter sense of humor to some of the obstacles, and that plus the really engaging visuals gave us a good reason to want to push forward outside of, stubborn pride. Our only real knock against this is that there’s no way to save your progress mid-run — maybe it’s not long enough to *really* need it, but beating the game is tough already. Being forced to beat it in one sitting is just not fun in our eyes. At least the ending was perfect enough to make up for it!
Great game with super tight controls, but I really think there should be an option to jump back into a level at the last checkpoint you got to. It’s really just too brutal to lose all progress when you need to quit lol. I know there’s the practice mode, but something between that and the “Knight” difficulty would have been nice (i.e. starts you at the last checkpoint you got to, but doesn’t allow warping to any checkpoint)
