Kartong Death by Cardboard PC Game 2018 review:
Being sized down, you will find yourself trapped in the home-built maze of evil toys from where you must escape.
Kartong has a lot of charm, with tools such as a crossbow that shoots a pin, matches, nail gun, etc., you go through the individual levels of the city and try to avoid Mr. Chuckles and to deactivate or bypass traps. The game really does a great job of building an atmosphere.
Definitely a great VR game, especially for the narrow thaler. A hidden gem. Despite being in early access very early the game is quite polished, good graphics with a style between cute and creepy, quite good performance and quite addictive.
Pros of Kartong Death by Cardboard:
- Does it sound like a country walk? No, more than a jump of fright escapes when a stuffed rabbit that looks worse than Chucky on a hangover day jumps in your face or a Jack’O’Lantern chases you laughing like a possessed man.
- Oh, and the best, endless hours of play, all procedural. I just miss a campaign, even if it was short, it would give it a good touch.
- It is a game to give you some vices without compromise, if you play a lot it can be repeated, but for those times where you do not have to do it is very good entertainment.
