First of all, we would like to register that this will be our first analysis and we need to be direct and straight: we will only give our humble opinion, regardless of the existing criticism and praise about Mafia 3, we will use space to leave also something of a technical nature or other caveats addressed in this analysis, it’s worth remembering that we are a big fan of the game’s theme and genre.
The impression that remains is that Mafia 3 is still in Alpha, then goes to Beta and can still for another 1-year delay, only and it should be released! the game had everything to be excellent! The biggest problem was the expectation created, the comparison with Mafia 2, etc … honestly there is no way to compare!
The game lost many fundamental elements, which should have been naturally maintained and consequently evolved into something broader and more immersive but that is not what happens. And the multiplayer? we didn’t see it either … finally, it had everything to be GREAT and one of the best games in life …. it wasn’t this time, the expectation for the next Mafia remains!
