A long time ago, when CryEngine was in development, we came across one disc in a retail store. The cover caption read Space Rangers. we don’t know what drove us then, and we bought this game. And after a couple of hours, we realized that we wouldn’t just leave her. For months on end, she kept us with her. Then the second part, which doubled all the winning moments of the first … and now, finally, the remake of the second part in HD.
First of all, we are pleased with the support for widescreen resolutions and the windows fitted for them. The interface has also been slightly changed. Now the pop-up note about the type of ship or planet will not dangle in a corner, instead, it will hang neatly next to the cursor. As one person we know put it long ago: “Space Rangers are a real masterpiece of the Russian gaming industry.” Many will certainly agree with this, for a lot has grown on this legendary game. What are the new CDs, and also the “Revolution”, and even with the prefix “HD”?
