We have nothing against first-person horror and scammers – among them, there are worthy projects – the same recent The Beast Inside, for example. However, after some time you start to get tired of them and want something new. And then Song of Horror (an extremely successful name, by the way) enters the scene.
Instead of all the usual mechanics of information transfer, which are sometimes borrowed by developers from each other and have already turned into cliches.
It is very difficult not to notice that the game is similar to Resident Evil (remake and 0), and there is something from Silent Hill. And this is by no means a minus – such borrowings clearly show what the genre needs today.
Pros of Song of Horror Complete Edition:
- Fixed camera and mode from the third person, and not from the first;
- Delegation to the player through the atmosphere of the universe of the right to form their frightening images, and not to “put” screamers in a designated place, which we easily remember and bypass them;
