This is a bullet war game that takes place in a deadly world! Upgrade your characters with the DNA you find and evolve them throughout the game to try to survive the danger.
Deflector is a high-octane rogue-lite where you can turn the tide of the bullet-hell against your enemies. Become a part of the experiment to eradicate deadly viruses in the most stylish way possible. When you’re caught between projectiles and a hard place – your only way out is to deflect! Send back everything thrown at you and finally turn the tables on the bullet hell genre! Combine upgrades to unlock powerful abilities and discover unique combinations in a free-form upgrade system. Create explosive clones, duplicate deflected projectiles, or even rupture the ground itself! Each character offers a unique playstyle. Explore worlds in any order you wish with the specimen of your choosing and fine-tune their abilities to fit your playstyle. Evolve as a player, because the fringes will put your skills to the test with some MASSIVE challenges.
Play is pretty fun with mildly constrained dashing and pretty generous bullet reflection as your main abilities and has some interesting touches to it. For example, the starting character attacks by throwing a boomerang, which is fairly short range, but you can deflect your own boomerang as it returns, giving it added range and activating abilities that trigger a deflection. Another example is you may pick up a mutation where you’ll get a bonus deflecting one direction, leading you to position so you can bring that into play.
Pros of Deflector:
- Fluid, fast, and truly addictive combat (deflecting is fun)
- Rich and genuinely exciting mechanics.

- Dying over and over are all part of the mix and feel, well.. great!
