what should I do this keeps happening.
it says,
an error occurred while unpacking: unable to read data
Unarc.dll returned an error code:-6
ERROR: can’t open file C: fg-14.bin
I tried downloading it and it still doesn’t work
Repair that part with winrar.

I don’t think that the file itself has a problem. it’s just that the setup.exe won’t read or open the file.
the game was playing nicely, but when i try to update it (copying the update file to the data folder), it cannot be opened anymore. always crash at the beginning of the game.
I installed the 13 parts of the game. There are 9 hotfix and 3 patches. I did not understand if I need to download and install all of them or I can download and install ONLY the 9th hotfix and the 3rd patch. What do you suggest?
The latest patch and hotfix are enough.
i clicked on the bg3 app but it keeps saying that its missing .dll and i dont know what to do ,ive been redownloading the latest one and extracting everything but i still cant seem to run the game

After I download every part and hotfix do I put them all into a folder and only extract part 1 to setup and play the game?
yes denis, using winrar and doing the extract process on only part 1 suffice. winrar will automatically extract all parts itself.
All the update files are confusing
1. Do i have to download all the 7 update files
2. Where do i paste the update files as not all are cracks(I mean by update file 4.1.1.3645567)
The latest one is enough, you have to install it to the game’s main path.

for the updates that were .zip files instead of archives, how do i install them to the right place? do they go in the same folder as the rest of the game?

Guys If you played the game before updating and wish to update take into account the dlc items disappear, so Is you were using the backpack as the way to keep all your items then move them first, or they’ll disappear alongside it (RIP my many scrolls, potions, etc.)
To download the updates, do I need all of the previous updates between the base game 13 parts, and the latest update? or just the latest patch and ignore the patches between?
You have to download and install all of them.
The torrent one 100% works fine and the game runs well on my i7 7700k 32gb and using a GTX970 card on high settings 1920×1080. my gtx1080ti runs it full native everything ultra and 4k high res no upscaling on either needed. if your system runs divinity original sin ii etc it will run this fine. surprised me how well it runs, the probs are due to new hardware and old technology chiplet cards sold as modern cards.
