The gameplay loop is incredibly bland, and in the first 5 minutes you’ll see the entirety of what the game has to offer. A slow scrolling map of Dark Scrolls, with 2-3 enemies that pop out. Grind that for about 5 minutes, and a boss shows up. The controls themselves are a bit clunky, but you get used to them. The upgrade and star system is a bit trivial and ultimately trains you to just spam your attacks and ult as fast as possible to stack passives without much deeper thought.
